Dabar Schools International is a Christian School that operates the Accelerated Christian Education(A.C.E.) curriculum. The complete A.C.E. program begins with reading development courses and progresses through high school with the core curriculum and a variety of electives.
Our main goal is to provide a strong academic education that connects faith and learning within the context of a safe, secure environment. We prepare future-ready students with skills that prepare them to be functional and responsible adults who are able to exist in their communities with positive contributions.
As a Christian school, we selected the Accelerated Christian Education (also known as A.C.E) curriculum as our education program, and are in consideration of exit options such as IGCSE.
We selected A.C.E. because it is a curriculum that is based on the Word of God and we found it to be in perfect agreeance with our beliefs and values as a school.
The Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E) curriculum is purposefully designed around an individualized, self-paced, self-instructing, and mastery-based approach. The A.C.E. program disregards the concept of associating age to mental comprehension. Students who are more skilled may progress at a faster rate or may accelerate in the areas of their academic strengths.
Students that are not as mentally inclined are encouraged to do their best to work at their highest levels of proficiency and proceed as they are capable. This approach is designed to ensure that all students are able to fully grasp and understand academic concepts.
Dabar Schools admits students starting from pre-school upwards to Grade 13. This includes students of ages ranging from 5 years and above.
We are able to enroll all students including those already using the A.C.E curriculum as well as those currently studying in the Ugandan curriculum or any other curriculum but seeking to make a change to an international Christian-based curriculum.
